Ali' Sleeps Weird

Ali is my interesting child. She just does things a bit different than most. She is going to be my willful child forsure but in this blog I will talk about her sleeping style. I looked over at her this morning and just cracked up. She sleeps on her head..literally! She doesn't go to sleep this way but wakes up this way most mornings..I had to share with you all so you could get a kick out of it too. Here are the pics of her sleeping(well..pretending to anyways) and then the pics of her bed head.Have a great day :-)

Hailey's 4th Birthday Party

Last Friday we celebrated Hailey's 4th Birthday. My roomates daughter turned 6 around the same time so we had a joint birthday party for the girls. We were glad that they agreed on a Dora the Explorer theme and it turned out so cute. Boy..parties are ALOT of work!We had about a total of 30-35 people/kids here at our house so it was busy, busy, busy! We did a pinata and I about had a heart attack. The first piece of candy that fell out, Hailey ran out to grab it while the little boy was still swinging! Ay Ay Ay! We had a ton of fun and I hope y'all enjoy the pics :-) p.s. Do Ya think Ali enjoyed the candy?!

I'm Thankful for My mom's creativity!

This Thanksgiving was extra special because my mom had all her grandkids together. That has never happened since Ali has been born. My brother Michael, his wife Diana, and their two boys came into town from San Francisco for the holiday. My brother Darrin now lives here in Az so he was there with his wife, Christine and their 3 kids. We went and had a picture taken with all the grandkids so my mom will finally have 1 picture with all her grandkids in it. Anybody who knows my mom knows that she is so creative every holiday with activites for the kids. Well, this year was so fun to be a kid! My mom planned a scavenger hunt, a turkey singing recital, and how each child would prepare thanksgiving feast! On Wednesday my mom asked each child seperately what they would put in the turkey, how long and at what temperature they would cook it. This was HILARIOUS! She asked Hailey these questions and Hailey said she would fill her turkey with chicken feathers, wings, a picture of a chicken, and flowers on top. She would cook it on top of the stove at 29 degrees for 40 days until she got back. Ali said she would fill her turkey with milk ,sauce, juice and candy and she would cook it at 5 degrees on the BBQ with milk! Very entertaining forsure. I love the holidays with my mom, she always finds ways to keep the kids having fun. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to carry on the torch quite like mom but I would love to keep this tradition going..so precious!
