Our Big Day Out!!
I was so excited to read about the Kidsfaire that was coming to town last weekend.It sounded great...tons of activities, characters, and crafts for the kids to enjoy.I loaded the kids up and went to the University of Phoenix Stadium on Saturday morning...I was so dissappointed for the kids!! Within 30 minutes, there was way too many people combined with way too many vendors trying to sell services to the parents!! I'm not claustorphobic but I felt like it. Barney was there so I tried to hold both the girls up to see him...it was a good upperbody workout foresure!! As you see from the pictures, he was a ways away but they got to see him anyway!! We didn't stay long but the girls did get to be a princess for a moment and I bought some yummy homemade peanut butter(Apricot, White Chocolate Raspberry, and Cajun Thai)...Not a day totally wasted:-) Hopefully next year they will hold it at a bigger place so it can be enjoyed!!! Toddler Tuesdays at the Mall of America can be like that too. A lot of little ones and their strollers and most of them are crying either because they are scared, tired or hungry!But eating in the food courts usually make it worth the trip..;-)
You are more ambitious than me! Small town events are enough for us.
